Last, but certainly not least…

by Red Sage Publishing

I’m so thrilled to be the author wrapping up this very sexy month here at Red Sage Revealed! All February long we’ve been talking about our favorite heroes and heroines, and I’m pretty stoked to share mine with you as well.

But how to choose? Like many Red Sage authors, I was torn over which characters to call my favorite. Many of you may be familiar with Dean and Zoe, from the EPIC Award finalist book Nameless Surrender. These two are so hot together—scorching hot! And they certainly had to jump more than a few hoops to end up with their happily ever after. I love these two, from Dean’s sincere, yet charmingly misguided intentions, all the way down to Zoe’s struggles with forgiveness. They were awesome characters to create, and even more fun to write.

So what’s the problem, you ask?

Well, I’ll soon be introducing some new characters in my upcoming release, Safe Surrender, available May 1st from Red Sage Presents. Wes Lucas, Dean’s younger brother, is a take-no-crap narcotics detective. Family has always come first for him, but his job is never too far behind. He’s hot as hell, a little rough around the edges, and sometimes moody—albeit with good reason. Secrets like the ones he’s forced to keep would make anyone edgy. Enter Carli Jacobs, a strong woman hell-bent on revenge who’s gotten herself neck deep in some serious trouble with a hard-ass drug lord. Wes is drawn to her from the get-go, and struggles with the suspicion that his partner, Ian Gray—a man torn with his own inner demons—is also attracted to Carli. After all, who wouldn’t be? She’s smart, brave, and sexier than she realizes. But when her predicament forces the detectives to place her into protective custody in order to keep her safe, the three find themselves thrown into an emotional whirlwind. Tension is in the air, and it’s not just sexual. Lives are on line, and trust is put to the test. As desire rips through each of them, heartbreaking truths are revealed and lies are exposed. In the midst of Wes and Ian’s quest to keep Carli safe, there’s a better than average chance she’ll end up surrendering her heart as well.

So, do you see why I’m torn? I’ve been through an amazing journey with Wes, Carli and Ian, just as I have with Dean and Zoe. Honestly, there’s no way I can choose. They each hold a place near and dear to me, and I can only hope that when you read their stories, they’ll end up earning a spot in your heart just the same.

Don’t forget to leave a comment to be entered to win! You can choose between a PDF copy of Nameless Surrender (available now), or Safe Surrender (available May 1st, 2010). Good luck!

It's always tough to pick a favorite. I'm just glad that there are so many to choose from.

The new book sounds great! I can see why you're torn between all those hunky, honorable men. To go through hardships that leave mental demons and to still be willing to put yourself on the line makes these men even more attractive.

And thanks for the festivities all this month! I'm really hoping I end up winning one of the great new books we've discussed.

Hey Kristin,
Thanks for such a great post…I can certainly understand your dilemma over choosing one over the other…I am loving the covers for both the books mentioned…Safe Surrender looks like an excellent read and I can't wait to buy a copy…I love love menage stories…

Happy Reading

I can never pick favorites, either! And it's no wonder you're stuck — they all sound terrific!

Kristin February 28, 2010 at 11:00 am

Thanks, Joder. Hunky, brooding, yet kindhearted men are exactly my type of hero. I love writing about them just as much as I love reading about them!

I'm glad you enjoyed our blog-fest!

Kristin February 28, 2010 at 11:06 am

Thanks, Anna! I love the covers, too. The artist really rocked it out and came up with the perfect portrayals for both books. And I'm really excited for you to read Safe Surrender. I love menages as well, and like I said in the blog, Wes, Carli and Ian's story is a favorite of mine!

Kristin February 28, 2010 at 11:06 am

Thank you, Lindy! There really was no way for me to choose!

Kristin February 28, 2010 at 11:07 am

Hi Leni! And I agree! Nothing like a few hot hunks to choose from, even if I couldn't make a final decision, LOL.

I simply adored Dean and Zoe and I know I am going to enjoy reading Safe Surrender just as much as
Nameless Surrender.
Let's not choose.
Let's just accept they all deserve to be loved up! LOL

It would be very hard to pick a favorite one because they all are so great.

The book looks interesting. I usually have a favorite but it depends on my mood and what time of day. I like the use of multiple choice option D. All of the above.

Oh, I can see the dilemma, but I almost always lean towards the menage hero/ine(s) they usually have so much more to go through and so much more reward!
