BAMBI LYNN

About Bambi Yes, Bambi is my real name.

I grew up on a farm in South Georgia. My high school was very small with a graduating class of less than 100 people. Shortly after high school, I met my wonderful husband who took me to Belgium, where a three-year tour turned into fifteen. While living in Europe, I nurtured my love of all things medieval. I often get homesick for Belgium, but with the world wide web, I'm home with the click of a mouse. I now live with my husband and son in the Deep South. When not plugging away at my keyboard, I teach World History and English Literature. I love to ride my big, black Tennessee Walker, Jamaica. My husband and I each have a Harley to go with our collection of classic cars and hot rods.

The first time I saw Gannicus fight in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, I knew I had to write a story set in this time period. Those Romans were the evilest of evil. Was there truly not a nice one in the whole bunch? When I visited the ruins of Pompeii, I found myself drawn in to the danger and fear the inhabitants felt on that disastrous day. Compelled by these two events, I couldnt get Aemilia and Marcus tale written fast enough. Their story of finding love amid chaos seemed to write itself. As you read WRATH OF THE FIRE GOD, I hope you experience their adrenaline pumping flight and passionate interludes as if you were present in the vacation town of Pompeii on that fateful day. Id love to hear what you think. Please visit me at my web site: www.bambilynn.net, follow me on facebook at BambiLynn.HotHistoricals, and follow me on Twitter @hot_historicals.
