Candace is rich with layers of personality. Unjustifiably hurt by her ex-fiancée, she grows into a self-assured woman; one she didn't even know was there. Ryan, the hunky devil of a man is rich as well. He's wealthy, attractive and ripe to fall in love. Even the Lothario becomes a character in this book. Each activity is filled with a backdrop of sumptuous décor, fragrant, savory and scorching sex. I loved this book and I will be watching for more books by Roz Lee. Don't miss The Lust Boat. You won't be disappointed.

PLOT:

The author was not kidding when she said this cruise is not your grandparents cruise. The Lust Boat was one erotic scene after another that made your senses and imagination run wild. I loved it. While the author surrounded Candace with people living out their fantasies, it was so very sensual and even erotic in itself to follow how Candace and Ryan fell in love. I also enjoyed reading how the heroine over came her lack of sexual self-confidence which was callously inflicted on her by her ex-fiancé. While the story did not entirely focus on conflict, or emotional set-backs, I found it a well rounded story that made me believe in love at first sight again. There should be more 'Ryans' in this world for sure! Ms. Lee tied up the plot very well by the end and left me curious as to what she has planned for her next book.

SETTING: The story began with Candace boarding the Lothario, the cruise ship of your fantasies. For most of the story they stay aboard with one exception of a day of sand and surf on a private island just for Lothario guests. A steamy scene you should not miss!

WRITING:

I liked Ms. Lee's voice. She delivered a book that grabbed my attention with delicious and sensual detail. Her characters showed the story so well, I could actually smell the salty sea air and taste the rich chocolate Candace enjoyed while on board the Lothario! Ms. Lee wrote with a clear point of view allowing me to follow each character that walked on the page. Her dialogue between the characters kept me turning the pages!

CHARACTERS:

I love when I find a character I can connect with. Candace is the sweet girl next door type that would do anything to help you if she could. While she was dealt a bad hand with her ex-fiancé, she bounced back stronger and more determined to find her own happiness. She was scared to trust again, but she allowed herself the opportunity to possibly find that special person in Ryan.

When a hero as kind-hearted as Ryan walks onto the page you can't help but want him for yourself. With all the tenderness and attention he pampered Candace with, you absolutely want them to fall in love and live happily ever after. But it is never that simple. Ryan is left with only a week to convince Candace he truly does love her and not using her as just another weekly fling and find a way to explain to her why he wasn't completely honest with her about who he really is.

LAST THOUGHTS:

Debut author Roz Lee, has started out her career with a fabulous book. I loved how she mixed the erotic fantasies of the Lothario with the sensual and loving desires between the two main characters. I recommend this book to anyone that loves to read about a heroine that finds their own while allowing themselves the pleasures of their fantasies. And just maybe finding true love in the end.

Even as their attraction sizzles out of control, Ryan has kept the fact that he owns the cruise ship a secret from his new love interest until he can find the right time to tell her. But secrets always have a way of coming out, and the news that Ryan is a part owner of the Lothario has her feeling as if he has used her. Can he get her to understand why he kept who he is a secret and get her to come back to him, or is their love going to become a thing of the past?

The Lust Boat is a red hot tale with so much sex the lust was practically oozing from the pages. I liked how Candace developed from this shy woman with a damaged self-esteem into a confident lover making this book more appetizing. I could see how two horny college boys would come up with the concept of the lust boat, and how stale the one week flings got for Ryan as he grew older, mainly due to the fact that he was no longer a student looking for a quick lay. Then there is the added bonus of having a second story between two other characters which leaves the reader with the impression that they just might get their own tale in the future. What a unique story Ms. Lee came up with, making this novel quite an interesting read.
